MEET LULU FALL

Embarking on her visual artistic journey in 2020, Lulu Fall, a self-taught abstract artist from Washington, DC, found solace and expression in the world of painting during the tumultuous global pandemic. With the unexpected loss of her mother in 2021, Lulu's approach to art underwent a profound metamorphosis, marked by intricate layering and blending techniques guided by her innate creative intuition.

In February 2022, Lulu unveiled her inaugural solo exhibition, "Lulu Fall: An Introduction to Hues," at Café 1923 in Hamtramck, MI. This showcase not only introduced her unique play with color, fluidity, and balance but also revealed her synesthetic connection, associating colors with moods and sounds. A second solo exhibition, "Grief: A Visual Diary," unfolded at Congregation Detroit in January 2023, unveiling 20 deeply personal pieces that demonstrated Lulu's ability to channel grief and pain into poignant and relatable art.

Beyond solo exhibitions, Lulu's art has graced the spaces of various group exhibitions in metro Detroit, including Irwin House Gallery, Detroit Artists Market (DAM), Nicolena Creates Gallery, Berkley Coffee,BasBlue, and the Torch of Wisdom Foundation's 2023 Silent Art Auction. In 2021, Lulu extended her artistic reach by launching her Etsy shop, LuluFallAbstracts.

In addition to her visual artistry, Lulu Fall is a multifaceted talent, excelling as a singer, award-winning songwriter, and accomplished Broadway/TV actor. Her theatrical credits span notable productions such as HAIR (National tour/Broadway), Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (Broadway/off-Broadway), and Skittles: The Musical (one-night event, Broadway). On the small screen, Lulu has made memorable appearances in Random Acts of Flyness (HBO) and The Last O.G. (TBS).

Lulu's musical prowess extends to her discography, featuring albums like "The Unpaved Road," "Heal: Part 1," and "Between Two Worlds." Recognized for her singing and songwriting prowess, she has garnered accolades from prestigious competitions such as the Great American Song Contest, Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Competition, and International Song Competition (ISC). Her latest musical venture, "Transform," released in September 2022, further solidifying her status as a dynamic and impactful artist across multiple creative realms.
